1. Sale of Kitten
The Breeder agrees to transfer ownership, and the Buyer agrees to purchase, one (1) purebred Ragdoll kitten for the total purchase price of $650.
2. Health Assurance
The Breeder certifies that the Kitten is healthy at the time of adoption and has received all age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming treatments. The following health terms apply:
a. Veterinary Check: The Buyer agrees to have the Kitten examined by a licensed veterinarian within seven (7) days of receiving the Kitten. If the veterinarian determines that the Kitten has a serious illness or hereditary condition existing prior to delivery, the Breeder agrees to provide a full refund of the purchase amount, including shipping fees, once the Kitten is returned.
b. Genetic Conditions: The Breeder guarantees the Kitten against severe hereditary defects for the lifetime of the Kitten. If two (2) licensed veterinarians confirm the presence of a serious congenital condition, the Breeder will either provide a replacement kitten of equal value or issue a complete refund, including shipping expenses, upon return of the Kitten.
c. Infectious Illnesses: If the Kitten is diagnosed with a contagious illness within fourteen (14) days after delivery, the Breeder agrees to refund the full purchase price, including shipping costs, once the Kitten is returned.
3. Delivery and Pickup
a. Delivery: If the Kitten is being transported, the Buyer is responsible for all transportation expenses. The Kitten will be delivered using a trusted pet transport provider, and shipment tracking details will be supplied to the Buyer.
b. Pickup: If the Buyer chooses to collect the Kitten in person, a refundable deposit of $300 is required at the time this agreement is signed. The remaining balance must be paid in full at pickup.
4. Payment Terms
$500 must be paid before the kitten can be delivered to the buyer. The remaining balance is due once the buyer has received the kitten. For local pickup, a refundable deposit of $300 is required at the time of this agreement, with the remaining balance payable upon pickup of the Kitten.
5. Buyer's Responsibilities
The Buyer agrees to provide the Kitten with proper care, including nutritious food, clean water, safe shelter, regular veterinary care, and a healthy living environment. The Buyer also agrees to comply with all applicable state and local laws concerning pet ownership.
6. Entire Agreement
This agreement represents the complete understanding between both parties. Any changes or additions must be made in writing and signed by both parties.
